Frequently Asked Questions

Got Questions? We Have Answers.

Find quick answers below regarding our Certified Legal Nurse Consulting, Mobile & Remote Notary, Loan Closings, Marriage Signings, Fingerprinting, and Document Logistics services.

🩺 Certified Legal Nurse Consulting (CLNC®)

What is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and how do they help attorneys?

  •  A CLNC is a Registered Nurse who bridges the gap between medicine and the legal system. Leveraging 13 years of front-line clinical healthcare experience, we review complex medical records to spot hidden data, identify standard of care deviations, and translate dense medical jargon into clear, actionable legal insights for attorneys.

What types of medical cases do you analyze?

  •  We consult on a wide array of cases drawing from deep clinical experience. This includes medical malpractice, personal injury, toxic torts, workers' compensation, and product liability, with specialized insights from my time in the ICU, Emergency Room, Telemetry, House Supervision, and Hospice care.

Can a CLNC® help with electronic chart audits/charting deviations?

  •  Yes. We conduct meticulous electronic chart audits to find missing data, timing inconsistencies, or altered entries. We look between the lines of complex metadata to help legal teams map out the true timeline of care.

Do you offer initial attorney consultations for case screening?

  •  Yes. We offer initial B2B compliance and case screening consultations to determine if a lawsuit has medical merit before your law firm invests significant time, money, and administrative resources.

✒️ Mobile & Remote Online Notary (RON)

What is the difference between a Mobile and a Remote Online Notary (RON)?

  •  A mobile notary travels physically to your location to execute paperwork. A Remote Online Notary (RON) allows you to securely sign and notarize documents digitally from anywhere in the world using a computer or smartphone with an active video and audio connection.

What are the identification requirements for getting a document notarized?

  •  All signers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (such as a Driver’s License or Passport). For online notarizations, the secure platform also uses credential analysis and identity verification questions to confirm your identity.

What are your standard travel fees and statutory notary rates in Texas?

  •  I charge the standard Texas statutory rate of $10 for the first certificate and $1 for each additional signature on the same certificate. For mobile appointments, a flat travel fee is applied, starting at a competitive base rate for the first 20 miles from our Caldwell hub.

Can you perform emergency, after-hours, or weekend notarizations?

  •  Yes. I understand that legal deadlines don't always fall between 9-to-5. I offer flexible scheduling, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, with emergency service adjustments available when urgent situations arise.

🏡 Loan Signing Agent Services

What types of real estate and loan packages do you handle?

  •  I provide secure document execution for a comprehensive range of real estate transactions. This includes Buyer and Seller packets, Refinances, Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC), Commercial loans, and Cash property closures.

Do you offer immediate scan backs for time-sensitive loan closures?

  •  Yes. Recognizing that real estate transactions are incredibly time-sensitive, we utilize high-speed mobile scanning equipment to send immediate, crisp scan backs straight from the closing table to satisfy escrow and lender guidelines.

Can you offer loan signings at hospitals, jails, or residential facilities?

  •  Yes. Our mobile services are highly adaptable to institutional settings. We specialize in clinical bedside signings at hospitals, nursing facilities, and secure document coordination at local courthouses and correctional facilities.

📜 Marriage License Signings

Can local marriage signing simplify planning a destination wedding abroad?

  •  Yes. Skip the foreign paperwork hassle. Avoid confusing international laws, expensive translation fees, and unexpected government delays. Secure your legal marriage with a quick, 5-minute signing in Texas before you travel, leaving you free to enjoy your destination wedding stress-free.

Can I get my marriage license signed without a traditional ceremony?

  •  Yes. If you prefer to bypass a formal public wedding ceremony, I can legally execute, sign, and validate your Texas marriage license in a brief, private civil appointment.

What alternative titles can you sign with on the license?

  •  I respect and accommodate your personal preferences for your permanent records. I can legally sign your paperwork utilizing alternative, secular titles such as "Officiant" or "Officiating Specialist" rather than "Minister."

👣 Ink Fingerprinting Services

Do you use standard FD-258 cards?

  •  I provide professional traditional ink fingerprinting services. I use the standard FBI FD-258 fingerprint cards, which are universally accepted for employment background checks, professional licensing, background screenings, and out-of-state requirements.

Can you bring fingerprinting equipment directly to my office or home?

  •  Yes. I provide complete mobile convenience. My independent setup allows me to bring high-quality, mess-free ink blocks and card holders directly to your workplace, home, or facility to minimize disruption to your day.

🌍 Apostille Logistics & Courier Services

What is an apostille, and when do I need one for my documents?

  •  An apostille is a specialized certificate issued by the Secretary of State that authenticates a public document for international use in countries that belong to the Hague Convention. You typically need one for birth certificates, powers of attorney, corporate bylaws, or diplomas being sent abroad.

How fast can you process an Apostille in Austin?

  •  Because we travel directly to the Secretary of State office in Austin, we can provide highly expedited logistics. We offer turnaround options ranging from a rapid same-day hand-delivery courier service up to a standard 72-hour window.

What geographical areas do your courier and delivery services cover?

  • Our primary service area spans Caldwell, Burleson County, Bryan, College Station, Austin, Houston, Temple, and Waco. We specialize in secure, strict chain-of-custody legal document courier services for highly sensitive medical files, legal evidence, and corporate records across and between all of these major Texas cities. Extended long-distance travel is also available to meet custom corporate timelines.

What specific Apostille logistics does Faith 1st Solutions PLLC handle?

  •  I provide professional mobile and remote notary services, document review for strict state compliance, and full filing coordination. I ensure your paperwork includes the required Texas notarial certificates and seals for state submission, and I handle the physical logistics of filing your packet directly with the Texas Secretary of State.

Does Faith 1st Solutions PLLC alter or correct my legal documents?

  •  No. I never alter, edit, or change the structural contents of your documents. I perform an administrative pre-screen audit to ensure the formatting, notary seals, and signatures meet strict state guidelines. If a document is missing a required element, I will notify you immediately so you can obtain a compliant copy.

Can you tell me exactly which documents my target country needs?

  • No. As a notary and consultant, I cannot provide legal advice or determine which documents your destination country requires. Clients must consult with their foreign agency, receiving institution, or legal counsel to determine exactly what paperwork must be gathered. Once you have the papers, I handle the notarization and state filing logistics.

Why do Apostille applications commonly get rejected by the state of Texas?

  • The state routinely rejects applications for minor mechanical errors, including missing notary stamps, missing dates, missing county venues, submitting uncertified photocopies, or submitting vital records that exceed the state's age limits. My review process helps catch these formatting errors before submission to prevent state rejections.

Can you process out-of-state or federal documents?

  •  No. The Texas Secretary of State will only authenticate documents originating within the state of Texas. Out-of-state documents must be processed by their respective states. Federal records—such as FBI Background Checks—must go through the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.

What is the difference between an Apostille and an Authentication?

  •  An Apostille is a single certificate attached to documents heading to countries that participate in the Hague Convention. An Authentication is a separate, multi-step certification process required for countries that do not participate in the Hague Convention.
